SLRD Notice: Hallmark movie shoot in Britannia Beach

staff report
March 6, 2025 7:32am

The Squamish Lillooet Regional District is notifying Britannia Beach residents of a movie shoot happening in the area. An upcoming Hallmark movie trilogy, Providence Falls, will be shooting in the area.

Production company PF123 Productions Inc. has announced that filming will take place on Tuesday, March 11, and Wednesday, March 12, at multiple locations, including private residences and the historic Britannia Mines site.

Filming Schedule and Locations

  • Tuesday, March 11 – Filming will occur at 1012 and 1016 Goatridge Drive. Crew members are expected to arrive at 7:00 AM, with interior and exterior shooting scheduled from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Wrap-up activities will continue until 11:00 PM.
  • Wednesday, March 12 – The crew will move to Britannia Mines, with filming from 9:30 am until 11 pm. A reduced crew will remain on-site until 1 am on March 13 to restore the location.

Traffic and Parking Considerations

To accommodate essential production vehicles, parking restrictions will be placed along the south side of Goatridge Drive, from 1073 Goatridge Drive to Quarry Lane. Residents requiring specific parking arrangements are encouraged to contact the production team for assistance. Filming will not involve loud noise, special effects, or simulated gunfire. However, actors in costume may carry rubber prop firearms as part of their roles. Police have been notified in advance to prevent any concerns.

Residents with questions or concerns can reach out to Ginger Schabler at 778-233-9265. During filming, inquiries can also be directed to assistant location manager Andrew Suttar at 778-991-8456.
