Autostrada, a well-known name in B.C.’s culinary scene, is set to open a new concept restaurant in Britannia Beach this summer, bringing its signature blend of warm hospitality and Italian-inspired cuisine to the Sea-to-Sky corridor.

The new Autostrada Oyster Bar & Grill will be just off Highway 99, near the historic Britannia Mine Museum in the new Britannia Village area.  In keeping with Autostrada’s commitment to seasonal, locally inspired menus, the restaurant will highlight Pacific oysters sourced from various coastal regions of British Columbia, the company said in a social media post.

The menu will also feature approachable favourites such as burgers, grilled salmon, and popular Autostrada staples, including its celebrated Bolognese.

Designed as a destination for both travellers and locals, the new venue aims to become a vibrant part of the growing Britannia Beach community, Autostrade said. Diners can look forward to al fresco meals with ocean views in the restaurant’s relaxed, coastal atmosphere.

The locally owned Firetail Pets in Garibaldi Village offers healthy food options and a variety of fun toys for your pets.
