Police seek info about suspicious men in Pemberton

June 19, 2025 12:20pm

The Sea to Sky RCMP is seeking information about two suspicious men in Pemberton.

On June 14, 2025, the Sea to Sky Pemberton RCMP received a report about two suspicious men who had their car parked briefly along Highway 99 in the area of Portage Road and Vine Road. One of the men was reportedly seen exiting the vehicle and approaching another vehicle parked in a nearby lot.

Pemberton RCMP investigators are actively investigating this report. However, police say they have no evidence to suggest a risk to public safety in the Village of Pemberton.

The Pemberton RCMP is requesting to speak with anyone who may have been around Highway 99 and Portage Road / Vine Road on June 14, 2025, between approximately 2 am and 2:30 am, and who may have witnessed a vehicle parked on the Highway.  Anyone with any information can contact the Sea to Sky Pemberton RCMP at (604) 894-6634, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
