The Brackendale Fall Fair will return to Brackendale Farmers Institute Park on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., bringing a full day of music, food, farm animals, and family-friendly activities.

According to the organizers, advance tickets are $5 online, while admission at the gate will cost $7. The fairground, located at 41976 Government Road, can be accessed through entrances between the Brackendale Art Gallery and Brackendale Elementary School. Activities planned for the day include hay rides, face-painting, zucchini races, mini-golf, live music, and a community group showcase. Visitors can also explore more than 80 vendor stalls featuring locally grown produce, homemade foods, and artisan goods.

According to organizers, exhibit entries for the fair’s competitions must be dropped off on Friday, Sept. 5, between 4:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Exhibits will remain on display throughout fair day and can be collected between 5 and 6 p.m. on Saturday. All entries must be original work completed after September 2024, with no names displayed until judging is complete. Judging will be based on merit, and prizes of $3 for first place, $2 for second, and $1 for third will be awarded.

Full rules and entry details are available at Brackendale Fall Fair Rules, Regulations and Classes for 2025. Animal exhibitors must arrive before 8:30 a.m. on fair day. Animals must be self-contained, provided with food and water, and monitored for heat stress during the event.

They are also seeking volunteers for roles including administration, activities, entertainment, exhibits, grounds, signage, tent installation, and volunteer management. Interested individuals can sign up on the website.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan for traffic delays, as the RBC GranFondo Whistler cycling event will take place the same day, causing intermittent closures along the Sea to Sky Highway.  The fair is a pedestrian- and bike-friendly event, and organizers are encouraging attendees to walk or cycle to the venue. Dogs are not permitted on the fairgrounds.
