Squamish Fire Rescue puts out vehicle fire on Government Road

Squamish Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire on Government Road and Edgewater Crescent in the District of Squamish on Jan. 13. The fire accident has led to a temporary closure of the roads in the area.

On their Facebook page, Squamish Fire Rescue said that they are present on the scene. They worked immediately to contain the fire and ensure the safety of nearby residents and drivers.

As of 12:40 p.m., crews have extinguished the fire. Government Road and access to Edgewater Crescent have reopened.
