Councillors Go Behind the Scenes in New Video Series

May 26, 2015 1:56pm

As part of BC’s Local Government Awareness Week, three newest District of Squamish Councillors Jason Blackman-Wulff, Karen Elliott and Peter Kent took it upon themselves to learn first-hand what really goes on behind-the-scenes.

Here is a light-hearted, unscripted look at what they discovered in this first episode of a new video series called ‘The District’. This new video series aims to provide an unscripted, in-depth look at District of Squamish facilities, services and the people who work hard to maintain and deliver them.

The District recently joined other provinces and municipalities across Canada in celebrating the 55th annual National Public Works Week and has proclaimed May 17 to 23, 2015 Public Works Week.  The theme for 2015 is “Community begins here”.
