Chamber opens nominations for business excellence awards

The nominations for the 2018 Squamish Business Excellence Awards are now open. The annual awards are given by the Squamish chamber of commerce. The annual Business Excellence Awards and Gala on April 27 at Norman Rudy’s located in the Executive Suites Hotel and Resorts.

The evening will include a Champagne Reception, canapes, scrumptious food, awards ceremony, and apres entertainment.

The ten Squamish Business & Entrepreneur Award Categories available this year are:

Service Excellence Large Business

Service Excellence Small Business

Non-profit of the Year Award

Young entrepreneur of the Year Award

Project of the Year Award

Arts & Culture Award

Innovation Award

Green Business (Squamish CAN)

Business Person of the Year

Bill Manson Citizen of Year

To nominate your favourite business or entrepreneur, you can visit the chamber’s website for online nominations. The nominations are open now and the deadline for nomination is March 21, 2018 by 5 pm.

Voting will take place from March 22nd – April 4th 2018.

“This is your opportunity to dress-to-impress and have a great time– celebrating, connecting with your community while networking, and growing your business at the same time! Don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes so we can party the night away,” according to a chamber media release.
