Got questions for Squamish RCMP ? Ask them on May 12

May 1, 2018 8:29am

Squamish RCMP is inviting local residents to an open house to be held at the local RCMP detachment on Saturday, May 12, between 1 and 4 pm.

The Squamish RCMP Detachment is at 1000 Finch Drive, and the open house is being organised as police prepares for National Police Week.

From May 13 to 19, police jurisdictions across the country will be celebrating the National Police week .

The Squamish RCMP is also inviting the public to the detachment for a number of hands-on activities, photo opportunities with police vehicles, members in Red Serge and Safety Bear, informative displays, and demonstrations by Police Dog Services.

Operationally permitting ERT and Air 1 will be present, as Air 1 is set to land at the detachment around 2:30 pm.

The event is also being combined with a fundraising BBQ for the Cops for Cancer Rider Constable Kelly DEAN.
