CN Railways staff will be installing No Parking signs and will be towing vehicles found parked on CN Property.
The signage and concrete barriers will be installed in the coming weeks along private CN property on Government Road between Mamquam Road and the entrance to Amblepath and Spiral.
The signs will also be installed at the gravel lot across from Rivers Walk.
As of February 1, 2019, vehicles found parked on CN property will be immediately towed at the owner’s expense.
As an alternative, street parking is available on Mamquam Road and side streets within the District of the Squamish. Parking in the adjacent bike lanes is not permitted, district said.
Please note that according to the District of Squamish Traffic Bylaw, a vehicle must not be parked for a continuous period that exceeds 72-hours.
In addition, a person must not park a trailer, camper, boat or other vehicle unless it is affixed to a motor vehicle.

I am glad CN is doing something in this regard. I am not sure why the DoS has not. That portion of Gov’t is unsightly and many of the vehicles or trailers there do not meet by law regulations. Why do we have by laws?
