Squamish RCMP, Lions Bay SAR search for missing woman

Squamish RCMP are asking anyone with information to the whereabouts of a missing woman to call Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100. 

On January 13th, 2019 at 2:25 pm the Squamish RCMP received a call from a family member of Lorraine Prebushewski in Lions Bay about her being missing.

Prebushewski was last seen at 10 am on Sunday and left on foot from the home she was staying at on Kelvin Grove Way. She has not been seen since.

Squamish RCMP and Lions Bay Search and Rescue conducted a large scale operation yesterday and throughout the night and have yet to locate the woman.

The search efforts continue this morning and throughout the day.

Prebushewski is described as the following:

  • 59 years of age
  • 5’2″
  • Slim build
  • 120 lbs
  • Brown Eyes
  • Dark Brown Hair
  • Last seen wearing all black, black puffy down filled vest with hood, black runners
