Police seek help in finding missing Squamish man

Squamish RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 59 year old missing Squamish resident, Michael Smith.

Police are concerned for Michael Smith as family reports this is out of character for him. 

Michael Smith was last seen on June 22nd, 2019 and reported missing by his family on June 24th, 2019.

Description of Michael Smith:

• Caucasian male;
• 6’2;
• 230 lbs;
• Light green eyes; and
• Grey hair

Michael Smith is believed to be driving a 2011 white Ford F150 with BC plate EA7748. Smith is known to be an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time in rural areas.

Since Smith’s disappearance, police have followed up on several leads, however Smith remains missing. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Michael Smith is urged to contact their local police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
