Stage 1 watering restriction are now in effect

September 3, 2019 11:03am

Stage 1 Water Conservation is in effect in the District of Squamish as of Tuesday, September 3. Stage 1 allows for two days of sprinkler watering per week between the hours of 4 am and 10 am and 7 pm and 10 pm.

Thank you to everyone for your efforts and sacrifices to conserve water. Water consumption was down 9% over last year – that’s 1,700,000 litres!

Interested in sharing your water conservation habits? You can email the district to say how you are doing your part in conserving water all year long.

For more information on water conservation, why it’s important and how you can reduce your water consumption outdoors and in, visit squamish.ca/water.
