Three colleagues and friends have set up a Go Fund Me page to support local realtor Nicole Musgrave after she was seriously injured in an accident on Friday.
On Friday, November 8, Squamish realtor Nicole Musgrave was in a taxi which was T-boned at approximately 70km per hour. Her side of the vehicle was struck resulting in her suffering a broken L-5 vertebra, a broken pelvis in 3 places, a broken hip, collar bone, ribs, a punctured lung, facial lacerations and extensive bruising.
After four days in the ICU and another week or more left to go, Nicole has managed to stay in good spirits and is simply happy to be alive, her friends noted.
“Undoubtedly, her future will be filled with intensive rehabilitation, doctor’s visits and missed work. What is unforeseen are the overall costs from months of lost income. The cause of the accident has not been determined as both drivers deny their responsibility,” according to local realtor Marianne Wilson, who created the page.
“Nicole is a very generous and compassionate person who has helped many people through difficult times. Let’s gather our resources and show our support to help her. Any excess funds will go towards the charity of Nicole’s choice.”
