After a successful inaugural launch, the Squamish Constellation Festival has announced its return to Hendrickson Field for the summer of 2020.
The festival will be held from July 24 to 26.
Early bird weekend passes go on sale this week, Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10 am. The ticket cost $159 (plus service charges and fees). Tickets are limited.
There are five tiers of weekend pass prices with a limited number of tickets being released for only $159 (plus service charges and fees), the organisers said.
Once those are gone, fans can buy weekend passes for $179 until Dec. 31. After that the final early bird price goes up to $199, and the sale ends on February 28, 2020.
“You’ll want to get in on this as soon as possible. You won’t find a better price – and these are going to make the best gifts for the winter holidays.”
The line-up will be announced when GA weekend passes will be put on sale for $239. A three-day pass at the gate will cost $279.
“Excitement has been building for the 2020 festival since before the first one even wrapped,” said co-founder and CEO Tamara Stanners. “Everyone had such an amazing time. Our first year was a dream come true – for the fans, the artists, and all levels of production – we exceeded everyone’s expectations and we can’t wait to do it all again next summer.”
“For all those who enjoyed our “local’s presale” last year, we want to let you know how much we appreciate your early support. You showed us that we were on the right track – that Squamish really does love its festivals and we were right to believe you’d be there to support a new one,” said Stanners. “We’ve evened the playing field for all music and art lovers this year because – as you’ve proven – this truly is a Squamish festival for locals by locals.”
“As four local producers who have big dreams for our town we’ve invested thousands of hours, time, money and passion into this project. We hope that you continue to support it so it can become a legacy for this town and continue for decades.”
After making a name as the largest zero-waste festival in BC with a 94 per cent diversion rate (certified by AWARE), the multi-day, multi-genre, family-friendly festival is planning on impressing music and art lovers further this summer with approximately 40 bands, mural painting, a songwriter’s workshop with elite artists, and much, much more.
