Man caught exchanging drugs in Whistler

On February 9, 2020 at approximately 11:20 PM, Whistler RCMP were conducting foot patrols of the stroll and observed an individual who was acting suspiciously in the 4000 block of Whistler Way.

Whistler RCMP quickly learned that the male was engaged in a drug exchange and arrested the male for possession of a controlled substance.

The resulting investigation discovered a quantity of suspected cocaine, MDMA pills and cash.

The male was rearrested for possession for a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking. The 23-year-old male from Whistler was released from custody with a promise to appear in North Vancouver Provincial Court on April 8, 2020.
