Utility work being undertaken between Village Gate Blvd in Whistler and Portage Road in Pemberton will cause the delays.

The distance of 31.4 kilometres would be affected as an aerial strand installation takes place on the Highway 99.

The traffic delays will be from 8 am to 3 pm on weekdays and Saturday, according to an update by Drive BC.

Those going further north to Lillooet can also expect single-lane alternating traffic and 20 minutes delays from 7 am to 5 pm, according to Drive BC.
