BC announces seven new cases of coronavirus

As many as 39 people have tested positive for the virus so far in BC

Seven people have tested positive for the coronavirus in the province, according to the latest update by the BC government.

Two of the seven people are health care workers at the Lynn Valley Care Centre in North Vancouver.

Yesterday, the government announced that a male resident at the Lynn Valley centre had died from the coronavirus.

As many as 39 people have tested positive for the virus so far in BC.

Meanwhile, Collingwood school, a private school in West Vancouver, has declared an early spring break because of concerns over the virus.
