One new death, 74 new cases of COVID-19 in BC

BC Government has announced 74 new cases of COVID-19 in the province, bringing the total number of people diagnosed with the disease to 424.

Dr. Bonnie Henry, the provincial health officer, also announced one more death at the Lynn Valley Care Centre in North Vancouver.

As many as ten people have died from COVID-19, with nine of those deaths linked to the Lynn Valley Care Centre in North Vancouver.

There are 27 people who are in the hospital now, with 12 of those patients in ICU.

As many 230 cases in BC are in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, and six people have so far fully recovered from the virus in BC.
