A local developer has submitted rezoning application for 12 homes in the Wilson Crescent neighbourhood in Dentville.

Four of the 12 homes will be townhomes.

This is a pocket community for Squamish by a resident of Squamish, says developer Edward Archibald, the principal of Accorde Properties.

Accorde has applied for rezoning for 1189 and 1201 Wilson Crescent.

Accorde is proposing eight four-bedroom homes with rooftop decks and oversized garages, which will have enough space for two vehicles and for bikes, etc.

Four homes on the north end will be townhomes, which will also have four bedrooms.

Archibald says it is often hard for a family to find a four-bedroom home for under $1.4 million.

The prices for the these homes are yet to be determined, but they will be affordable and far below what it costs to buy a four-bedroom home, he said.

The company is also engaging with the Squamish Alternative Energy Group to find a way to incorporate solar roof panels on the homes.

Wilson Crescent is not part of Dentville. They are distinct neighbourhoods.

I always thought it is part of Dentville, then what is the name of the neighborhood it belongs to?
