UPDATE: Sergeant Sascha Banks of Squamish RCMP has confirmed that a man and a woman died in a mobile home fire in Britannia Beach.

“Unfortunately, we located a male and female deceased inside the home. At this stage the fire does not appear to be suspicious. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those that died and with the tight knit community of Britannia Beach,” she said.

The names of the man and woman who died will not be released.
