Five vehicles broken into in Valleycliffe

Squamish RCMP are urging caution after five vehicle break-ins in Valleycliffe in just one day.

The break-ins all happened on May 21.

Three of the vehicles were left unlocked and various items of value were stolen.

Two vehicles had their windows smashed and a valuable item was stolen from one of them.

Police said criminals are active in the community and are encouraging the public to not leave valuables in their vehicles and to ensure that vehicles are locked.

Squamish RCMP are looking for a vehicle that was stolen from the 40000 block of Willow Crescent.

The vehicle is a white 2017 Chevrolet Silverado LT, bearing BC license plate LH2003. It is described as a work truck with a dent on the rear bumper.
