Staff report
June 23, 2020 2:33pm

Squamish RCMP are warning the community about suspicious persons in Valleycliffe.

On June 14, between 6 pm and 7 pm, two suspicious men were reported by citizens around the 38100 block of Westway Ave.

Police believe they have a grey GMC Canyon truck, and are asking the neighbourhood residents to be cautious.

“Squamish has seen a marked increase in property crime over the past few months and we rely on you to be the eyes and ears for your neighbourhood and call in any suspicious activity,” said Sgt. Sascha Banks of Squamish RCMP.

Mischief to Vehicle

On June 15, at about 6:30 pm, a car owner reported to the police that his car parked along the 37900 block of Cleveland Ave. was scratched on the left panel side.

Anyone with any information regarding the above files are asked to contact the Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100, or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or go to website www.solvecrime.ca
