BC Conservation Officer Service have charged a man with Wildlife Act offences for killing a bear with a crossbow.

The bear was killed in the Ring Creek area in Squamish.

The incident happened in the second week of June, said Conservation Officer Ken Popjes.

Popjes didn’t specify what charges would be faced by the man.
