$1,500 worth of riding gear stolen in Downtown Squamish

Squamish RCMP are investigating an incident of theft from a vehicle in Downtown Squamish.

On July 7, Squamish RCMP received a complaint of theft from vehicle that was parked in the underground lot in the 1100 block of Main Street.

The thief stole about $1,500 in riding gear including a helmet, BMW jacket, black leather gloves, and a pair of black leather boots.

On July 10, Squamish RCMP also received a complaint of theft from a storage unit in the 1000 block of Enterprise Place.

The theft happened sometime around July 1, and multiple items such as electronics and clothing were stolen.
