I love that whistler put out this warning… Unlike the Squamish police when my friends son was grabbed and they did nothing. Because when the guy was cause he said he was concerned by the way the boy was riding his bike. Well as a “concerned” adult I would never follow a child 5 blocks, make 3 u-turns and then get out of my car and try grabbing the child after he’s clearly asked to go away. Squamish police should learn a few things from the Whistler police about keeping our children safe.

I’m sick of people calling down the RCMP. Would you rather be stuck with a city police force? This is how it works. First you apply for RCMP and if you fail you apply for a city police force. If you fail that you try desperately for film or railway police. After that your the local security guard. Give your head a shake and stop calling down our police

Anything suspicious should be reported. I myself have been in a situation where I was with my children, but I could clearly see the child was lost, another time the mom had lost her child. In both cases, nobody did anything but myself. I realized quickly the child was lost at Park Royal and I notified the police. The mom that lost her child, I helped her find him. Weird that no one else would help. We all need to look out for our little ones. Keep our radar up, the police have enough going. They have a tough job. I wouldn’t want to do it, I commend them for what they do.
