The new page includes gas and diesel price information for the cities the commission heard most from, including Squamish, Kamloops, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Port Alberni, Powell River, Revelstoke, and Vernon.
The commission has also included data for Langley, Nanaimo and Metro Vancouver for comparison.
The data will be collected until September 30 and updated at regular intervals.
The BCUC is responsible for collecting and publishing information about gasoline and diesel fuel activities in BC, although the commission doesn’t regulate fuel prices.
In June, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) said it will investigate high gas prices in Squamish, and will start to collect and publish data on gas prices in town.

I wonder why Mr Horgan doesn’t talk about his “gas price inquirey”? It would be interesting to hear why the BC price is $1.29 or so and the Blaine WAprice is $.92 (using a 40% exchange rate).
A 37 cent diff. I guess he needs his vigorish to help buy more hotels for the homeless?
If the Provincial take was a flat rate instead of a % there might be a little more interest in getting the price down below $1.00. The higher the price the more $$$ the gov hauls in. Bad system.
Or maybe an election – re-promise, hold another “inquiry”?
Safe for now, no one can cross into WA to save 30 odd % on gas.
