COVID-19 exposure warning for Lions Bay beach

​Vancouver Coastal Health has issued a COVID-19 exposure warning for Lions Bay beach.

VCH has issued a warning notification for those who visited Lions Bay Beach Park on July 26, 27, 29, 30 and 31.

As a precaution, people who visited the beach on those dates should monitor themselves for 14 days.

​​The possible exposures were listed by VCH at 60 Lions Bay Ave., and the potential exposure happened during day time.

There is no known risk to anyone who attended any listed locations outside of the specified dates and times.

If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people can continue with their usual daily activities.

If people develop any symptoms of COVID-19, they should seek testing and then self-isolate.

If you have been identified as a COVID-19 case or close contact, please know that VCH Public Health will contact you directly and provide further instruction.
