COVID-19 exposure warning for lounge in Trump Hotel

​Vancouver Coastal Health has issued a new COVID-19 exposure warning for a lounge located in the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Downtown Vancouver.

The alert has been issued for the IVY Lounge, which is on the third floor of the Trump Hotel at 1161 West Georgia Street in Vancouver.

The potential exposure date is August 7 and timing is from 10 pm to closing on August 8 at 2 am.

As a precaution, people who visited these businesses should monitor themselves for 14 days.

There is no known risk to anyone who attended any listed locations outside of the specified dates and times.

If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people c​​an continue with their usual daily activities.

If people develop any symptoms of COVID-19, they should seek testing and then self-isolate.

In the last one week, VCH has issued warnings for a foot shop, a lounge, two restaurants, as well as Lions Bay Beach.

Yesterday, BC announced 85 new cases of the virus, a majority of them young people in Lower Mainland.
