Upcoming work on Highway 99; expect delays

staff report
September 25, 2020 11:20am

People driving on Highway 99 can expect delays for utility work that will begin in the coming few days.

Traffic will be affected on Highway 99 in both directions.

Utility work is planned between Copper Drive and Watts Point Rd for 3.7 kilometre.

The work starts on Monday, September 28 and will continue until Thursday October 1.

The work will start at 8 am and will continue until 6 pm.

The road will be closed intermittently, and Drive BC is urging people to watch for traffic control personnel.

Meanwhile, lane closures will also lead to delays on Marine Drive in West Vancouver.

Utility work is planned between Capilano and Lions Gate Bridge Roads, starting on Monday, September 28 at 8 am, and is expected to wrap up the same day at 4 pm.
