BC Hydro is planning power outages for specific areas in Garibaldi Highlands and Downtown Squamish.
There will be overnight power outage today, October 22, from 4 pm to October 23 at 8 am in Garibaldi Highlands.
The overnight outage is planned for the following addresses:
40238 – 40340 Aristotle Dr, 3303 – 3314 Aristotle Place, 3305 – 3350 Descartes Place, 2914 Huckleberry Drive, 9, Legacy Ridge, 3210 – 3420 Mamquam Rd, 2918, 2925, and 2933 Snowberry Place.
Overnight outage will also take place at 2938 – 2998 Strangway Place, 40000 – 40885 The Crescent, 888 University Blvd, 3011 – 3200 University Blvd, and 3220 Village Dr.
BC Hydro crews will be working on their equipment in these areas.
In Downtown Squamish, power will be out on 37700 – 37752 Second Avenue, for pole replacement, from 9 am to 5 pm, on October 28.
“We ask that if you see our crews and contractors out in the field, please respect social distancing measures and maintain a physical distance of at least two metres,” BC Hydro says.
