Staff report
October 24, 2020 7:11am

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Howe Sound.

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur.

A strong Arctic ridge of high pressure over the BC interior is bringing northerly outflow winds of 70 km/h gusting to 90 through Howe Sound this morning.

The winds are expected to ease this afternoon.
