Grouse Mountain has announced that it will be open for the winter season with limited terrain on Friday, November 20.
Skiing and riding will be available on Peak, Heaven’s Sake and Paradise from 1 pm to 9 pm on Friday and 9 am to 9 pm on Saturday, November 21st.
“We are happy to safely welcome skiers and riders back to the slopes for the start of the winter season at the Peak of Vancouver®,” said Grouse Mountain’s Director of Mountain Operations, Grant Wahl.
“The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority and we have a number of new safety protocols in place including mandatory advance Skyride reservations, reduced capacity on the Skyride as well as requiring face coverings inside all Resort facilities and in areas where physical distancing cannot be maintained.”
Skiers and riders can expect a number of new protocols in place for the winter season.
Advance Skyride reservations are required for all access to and from the Mountain. Advance online ticket purchase is recommended to reduce lineups and interaction.
Face coverings are required inside all Resort facilities as well as in areas where physical distancing cannot be maintained including while queuing, loading and riding on the Skyride and chairlifts.
Individual chairs will be limited to families or household groups who are riding together.
