A Saskatchewan man was issued violation ticket by police after a collision on Callaghan Valley Road.
On December 18, at approximately 7:35 pm, Whistler RCMP were called about a collision between a SUV and a commercial bus on Callaghan Valley Road.
Police say a red Kia Sorento was east bound on Callaghan Valley Road when the driver lost control and collided with a west-bound bus with passengers on board.
Several people were transported to local area hospitals with what have been described as non-life threatening injuries.
The 23-year-old drive from Saskatchewan was issued a violation ticket for driving without due care.
Whistler RCMP is reminding people to be extra careful on roads in winter.
“By taking a little extra time, slowing down and ensuring your vehicle is equipped with good snow tires and in good mechanical condition, you will ensure that you are able to reach your destination this holiday season,” Whistler RCMP said.
