Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for Sea to Sky region.
A total of 15 to 20 cm of snow will fall over the Sea to Sky Highway tonight and Wednesday as a moisture-laden frontal wave moves across southern B.C.
The snow will be wet and significant accumulation isn’t expected until early Wednesday morning.
The likeliest snowfall accumulation will be over sections that are above 200 metres.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations, Environment Canada warns.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Adjust to winter driving behaviour and use winter tires and chains.
