Upcoming work on Highway 99; expect delays

Staff report
January 7, 2021 1:36pm

Upcoming work on Highway 99 is expected to cause traffic delays.

Utility work is planned between Ocean Point Drive and Ansell Place for 3.9 km, south of Lions Bay.

The work starts on January 14 at 9 am and will continue until 5 pm.

Utility work is also planned between Lions Bay Ave and Porteau Cove Road for 2.2 km.

The work in the north-bound lane starts on January 13 until Friday, January 15, from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

Single lane alternating traffic will be in effect. Expect minor delays.  BC Hydro will also undertake some tree work alongside the highway that could cause some delays.

Utility work is also planned on Marine Drive and Taylor Way in West Vancouver, which will lead to lane closure.

Some delays can be expected.

The work starts on Wednesday, January 13, at 8 am and continues until Wednesday, January 13 at 2 pm.
