Alert: Barrier maintenance on Highway 99 tomorrow

Left lane on Highway 99 near Whistler will be blocked because of maintenance work.

Maintenance is planned between Daisy Lake Rd and Retta Lake Road, seven kilometers south of Whistler.

The work starts on Monday, February 1 at 7:30 am and will continue until 3:30 pm.

Left lane will be blocked for barrier maintenance, according to an update by DriveBC.

Meanwhile, drivers should be aware that a snowfall warning is also in effect for Sea to Sky Highway.

As much as 15 to 25 cm snow can be expected by this evening, with more snow on the way for Monday.
