Avalanche control planned on Duffey Lake Road

Avalanche control work is planned on Duffey Lake Road today, and drivers can expect 20-minute delays.

This will affect Highway 99 in both directions.

According to an update by DriveBC, the avalanche control work is planned between Lil’wat Pl and Seton Lake Rd, about 41 km south of Lillooet.

The work starts today, February 3, at 10:30 am and continues until 1 pm.

Expect up to 20 minute delays, says DriveBC.
