Police seek help searching for missing Powell River woman

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman from Powell River.

Leanne McKee was last heard from at approximately 7 pm on February 21, when she sent a Facebook message to a family member.

 

Leanne’s last known whereabouts was at the Saltery Bay ferry terminal when she got on the 7:55 p.m. ferry to the Sunshine Coast.

McKee made comments about heading to Vancouver.

Since that time, police and family have not been able to get in touch with McKee.

Leanne McKee is described as a Caucasian female, 51 years of age, 5 feet 8 inch tall, with a slim build, and dark brown and grey shoulder length hair with brown eyes.

If anyone has any information about Leanne Mckee’s whereabouts, please contact the Powell River RCMP at 604-485-6255.
