Man arrested for smashing transit bus window on Highway 99

A man was arrested by Whistler RCMP after he smashed a BC Transit bus window on Highway 99.

Police learnt that a man had shattered the glass of a city transit bus when attempting to gain entry into the bus.

The man was arrested for mischief and later released on court documents.

The bus driver was not injured during the event.

Stolen credit cards used in Squamish

On March 11, at 7 pm, Pemberton RCMP responded to a theft from vehicle in the Duffy Lake park area.

A wallet was stolen and a credit card was used in several fraudulent purchases later that day in Squamish.

The RCMP are still investigating this crime.

Police would like to remind the public that they shouldn’t leave personal items in vehicle and always lock the doors.
