West Van police seek help finding missing man with dementia

Staff report
April 7, 2021 4:46pm

West Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 77-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Von Fresen was last seen Tuesday, April 6, at 7:30 pm, near the IGA store in the 2400 blk of Marine Drive.

Von Fresen is Caucasian, 6’4” tall, slim build, with grey balding hair. He may be wearing a black windbreaker and blue jeans.

He may be driving a grey, 2007 Honda Accord, with BC license plate 433 MFT.

Von Fresen’s dementia may cause him to appear paranoid and confused.

If anyone locates him, they are asked to keep an eye from a distance, and to call 911 immediately.
