Thieves break car window, steal valuables

Squamish RCMP are investigating two complaints of theft from autos in town.

On April 18, it investigated a complaint of unknown persons breaking a window to access a car parked on Mamquam Forest Service Road.

A pair of Apple Airpods, Bose Bluetooth speaker, and a skateboard were stolen.

On the same day, Squamish RCMP received an online crime report of theft from the 2000 block of Paco Road.

The theft happened at about 7:30 am.

The complainant parked and locked their car, but found it had been broken into.

Thieves stole a pair of grey Oakley goggles, a backpack, a pair of gloves, a helmet, a headlamp, and a fly fishing rod.
