Thieves break into local storage company

staff report
April 28, 2021 11:27am

Squamish RCMP are investigating after thieves broke into multiple storage lockers at a local storage company.

Between April 18 and 23, several storage lockers at a local storage locker company in the 1000 block of Enterprise Way were broken into.

From lockers the thieves gained access, they stole a Giant Escape Bike, a bag of power tools, an Alpine backpack, and some other items.

There were other lockers the thieves tried but could not break into.

On April 22, Squamish RCMP investigated a complaint of a Canada Post lockbox that got broken into sometime overnight in the 1900 block Garibaldi Way.

Police say unknown persons caused damage to the lockbox, but did not steal anything.
