Motorcycle and car collision on highway; one seriously injured

One person is serious condition in the hospital following a crash yesterday on the Sea to Sky Highway.

The crash between a motorcycle and a car happened south of Lions Bay on Thursday, May 13.

Sarah Morris, media relations for BC Emergency Health Services, said they received a call around 6:23 pm.

“BCEHS received a call at 6:23 pm for reports of Motor Vehicle Incident on Hwy 99, south of Lion’s Bay,” she said.

Two ground crews paramedics were dispatched to the scene, who treated the patients and transported them to the hospital.

One of the patients remains in serious condition in the hospital while the other patient is stable now.
