Rainfall warning for Howe Sound

A special weather statement in effect for Howe Sound

A low-pressure system approaching the Vancouver Island on Wednesday will give widespread rain to the south coast.

The rain begins on Wednesday night and will continue into Thursday evening.

Rainfall amounts may reach 50 mm over the Howe Sound region and parts of Metro Vancouver, especially over the Northshore mountains.
