COVID vaccination capacity increased in Whistler

staff report
June 21, 2021 4:37pm

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is expanding COVID-19 vaccination appointment capacity at several of its sites, including one in Whistler.

The health agency is also offering drop-in spots to support the ongoing delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations.

The clinic is located at Whistler Conference Centre, and the drop-in are available on June 27, from 10 am to 5 pm.

As many as 300 drop-in spots are available for first dose only, although those above the age of 70 are eligible for for the first or second dose.

VCH is strongly encouraging eligible people in the region aged 12 and older, who haven’t received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, to book an appointment today or to drop-in to one of its convenient locations for easy access to same-day appointments, with managed wait times.
