Squamish library available as a cooling centre

The Squamish Public Library is also available as a cooling centre.

The library director, Hilary Bloom, confirmed that locals can use the library as a cooling centre.

“We will be able to open at 10 am today for people to come and sit in the Foyer and meeting room and enjoy the air conditioning,” she said.

The library services open at 1 pm, and the library is open until 5 pm today.

The cooling centres set up by the District of Squamish is open at The 55 Activity Centre (Great Room)

It will be open today, Tuesday, June 29, from 11 am to 6 pm.
