District to install lighting on Corridor Trail

Staff report
August 30, 2021 9:59am

The District of Squamish is undertaking two lighting projects on the Corridor Trail this year.

The District says its vision for the Corridor Trail is to create a 3 metre wide, paved and lit path for the entire length of the trail from the north to south ends of Squamish.

The segments where lighting will be installed are along Loggers Lane between the Adventure Centre and Finch Drive, and along Highway 99 between Mamquam Road and the Mamquam Bridge.

District will install lighting along Loggers Lane from Finch Drive to the Squamish Adventure Centre.

Expect detours on the Corridor Trail, and expect delays on Loggers Lane.

Work will take place from late August to October.
