Sanitary sewer work starts today at various locations in town

Staff report
September 27, 2021 9:05am

Sanitary sewer repair work will take place in various locations in town from September 27 to 29.

There will be minimal traffic disturbances during this work, and there will be traffic flaggers, signage and traffic management plans put in place by the district.

During the liner curing process, residents may see steam rising from the endpoint manholes in the immediate work area and smell a faint chemical odour in the air, though this will be of short duration.

The work will take place at these locations:

Government Rd (near Wain Pl in Brackendale)

Dryden Rd (near corner of Macdonald Pl)

Buckley Ave (near corner of Buckley/Garibaldi Ave heading north)

Madill St (corner of Madill/Buckley heading east toward DOS Lift Station)

Buckley Ave (corner of Madill/Buckley heading south)

Typical work hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and traffic management plans in place.

Yes they were doing the work at Depot+ Cottonwood down to Faith rd and Hope rd.
It’s good to know that our taxes are being used to finally fix our leaking infrastructure.
No smell that I noticed but happy it’s done.
