Squamish RCMP investigating theft at downtown store

Squamish RCMP are investigating a theft at a liquor shop in Downtown Squamish.

On September 28, at 1:30 a.m., Squamish RCMP received a report of a man who used a hammer to smash the door and gain entrance to a liquor store downtown.

He stuffed six liquor bottles into his backpack before leaving the store.

Police continue to investigate

Theft at strata complex

Squamish RCMP is also investigating a report of theft that happened on September 24, between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm in the 1000 block Village Green Way.

An unknown woman went into a strata complex and stole some packages.

Police continue to investigate.
