Squamish RCMP and Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team are currently dealing with an incident at an apartment complex off Loggers Lane in downtown Squamish.

The location is contained and there is no risk to public safety, but the police will be on scene for some time

“Please do not come to the location. Those in the area please give our teams the space they need,” said Squamish RCMP in a tweet.

The incident involved a barricaded person with injuries inside a residential unit in the 38000 block of Loggers Lane, according to Twitter user Squamish News Buff.
